Posted By: Misunderestimated (Brian H.)
Since I won this one at what would be a very low price if its legit. Itwas quite conspicuously listed on eBay. I wonder what I missed. In other words: "what's wrong with this picture"?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150180038638&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=005

I paid with Paypal so I'm ultimately protected.

Posted By: Jay
Brian--You can't tell from the scan if it is good or not. The only thing for sure is it is ugly. Good luck!

Posted By: Fred C
I kind of laughed when I first saw that card. I've seen reprints like this before. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think I am. I hope the seller is honest and doesn't hassle you over the return. I read the item description and it appears the seller believes it's real. At least the seller didn't say "and it doesn't say reprint anywhere on it".

Good Luck!

Posted By: Joe_G.
Hope I'm wrong, but that looks like a high risk of being a reprint to me. The "Old Judge Cigarettes" advertising banner in the upper left hand corner box is truncated short of the border. That is quite unusual but not unheard of. Or perhaps what I've mistaken for a top border is simply wear and explains the truncated top. Let us know how it turns out.

Here is a legitimate type 2 long numbered OJ for comparison.

Best Regards,
Joe Gonsowski

Posted By: Rick McQuillan
Here is another red flag to watch for. If you look at the sellers closed auctions you will see nice clear large scans of cards. Why is the scan on this fairly high dollar item small and fuzzy? Wouldn't the seller want the best possible scan to maximize the number of bids? He has a scan of a 99cent Shawn Marion card that is nearly perfect.

I hope it turns out to be real, but it doesn't look good.

Rick

Posted By: john/z28jd
From the scan, theres no way i wouldve bid on this, even at that low price where id be taking a chance hoping its real. Once you get it in hand, you should be able to easily tell its a reprint if it is,especially since you have others to compare it to.Good luck with it but im saying it doesnt look good

Posted By: barrysloate
If it's real it would probably grade a 1 or a 2, and you just can't buy a Mack in that range for $133. I don't think there was very much bidder confidence on this one.
