Posted By: Lee Behrens
Hi,

I am looking to find out if there is any consistancy to the color variation on this card. What I am sking from owners of this card is the color of the Evers and the type of back (Black 649, Black 30 or Red 30). Either post here or feel free to email.

If any one has any other variations I would like to know of them.

Thanks

Lee

Posted By: James Harkins
Lee
I have two copies of this card, both are black Factory 649. The Evers on both of my cards has the same shading as your card, but the color on my cards is green. In the center near the ears, my cards are dark green. Your card appears to be blue.

Posted By: Misunderestimated
Lee-
I didn't respond before because I thought you had the info. about my Evers/Archer cards.
Anyway the 2 I have are identical Green front with red Factory 30 backs.

I'm posting this note on the board instead of emailing you -- in light of the thread you started recently about hte Board's direction..

BTW -- do you have an decent "Elberfeld Beats" to spare.... (you can email me about that)

Two of my favorite T202s shown below are non-responsive but as long as I was posting .....

Posted By: Lee Behrens
Thanks for responding Mike, I don't know if keeping this issue in the fore front will actually affect the prices much. I have followed this set for 5 years and still could not give you solid pricing on these cards. It is a goofy market that you can pick up cards dirt cheap one week and the next it will go for twice as much as expected. I guess that comes with lack of knowledge of the set. I also believe that the price guides have no idea about the scarcity in the set. The Matty/Devlin versions are definately scarce but I believe it is flipped around from what the price guides say, but there should not be a huge difference in pricing.

It is a great set and hope to own one of every known back which may never happen.

Lee
