Posted By: Ted Zanidakis
This past weekend my wife, Charlotte, and I attended my 50th High School Reunion. There was something very surreal
about this event that I thought I'd share with all of you Net54ers. There were 89 classmates and about 50 wives attending.
Everyone had a glorious time and I got to talk with most. What really struck me, though, is that....TIME IS REALLY IRRELEVANT.
I say this with a deep sense of profundity. For we engaged in reminiscing of events and conversations we had back in 1957....
as if they were just yesterday. And, mind you, we had not seen each other in 50 years....what an amazing experience.
And, yes we also talked 1950's BaseBall.

TED Z

Posted By: Mark Macrae
Ted.... Charlotte hasn't changed a bit since the last time I saw her...when I still had a full head of hair... ... The real question is Did you drive to your reunion in the '57 T Bird ?.... I noticed the stack of plates in the background resembled the moon hubcaps that some of those Ford Birdies were decked out with....

It's the same pix that is on my name tag, that you requested.
But, the yearbook pix scans better.

TED Z

Posted By: Ted Zanidakis
The answer to your very good question is.....NO. I really considered it, as it would have been the "talk of the Reunion".....
being that it is a 1957 T-Bird......and, was the most desireable car in our High School class in 1957. It was a 2 hour drive,
and the weather wasn't cooperating.
Incidently, notice that my wheel covers are the usual Ford aluminum ones. Not the "moon hubcaps" you alluded to....HA !

Best regards,

TED Z

TED Z

Posted By: Ricky Y
Ted, I liked your year book too. I think you have aged really well...you don't look at all like you graduated 50 years ago. I hope to look as good as you on my 50th. I have a 30 year one coming up next year..and I'm going to defend my title of "most unchanged"...lol.

Ricky Y

Posted By: Ted Zanidakis
It did occur to me, Jim....however, in the context of this discussion, I thought it would be better not to.
I could have noted BaseBall cards for my HOBBY in the Yearbook....but, I had advanced from that phase
to cars and GIRLS.
But, I will tell you how prescient I was in saying GIRLS....back in 1957. Besides my Wife, there's my Sister,
two Daughters, a Grandaughter, and 5 cousins in Greece who are all Women. I am completely surrounded
by Girls.
Also, I do have two Grandsons.

TED Z
