Posted By: leon
This card was graded about 3 yrs ago by SGC before there were AUT designations. I doubt it should have been graded at all due to the back looking like it's been skinned. I called SGC and they asked if I would go ahead and buy it, they will reimburse me for it, and to send it to them...Once again they do the right thing and back up what they say....regards

http://cgi.ebay.com/1909-10-E97-Black-and-White-Proof-Jimmy-Austin-SGC-1_W0QQitemZ180161437705QQihZ008QQcategoryZ86837QQs sPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Posted By: rand brotman
i have been submitting to SGC for 4 years now. when i first started i got a lot of flack from my friends that were/are psa loyal. i couldnt have been happier and held my ground in the sgc vs psa debates. now its 4 years later and i know i made the right decision.

Posted By: leon
They didn't say what they would do with it. I would be ok if they just cracked it and consigned it to any of our advertisers that would take it and sell it with full disclosure and slabless. It's still worth some bucks and actually looks better than many E97- black & whites we see....the backs are blank anyway too....(though I do like my blank backed cards to have backs, in general)

Posted By: henry moses
that Dave Forman honored a VERBAL agreement given to me by someone OTHER than him at a national BEFORE SGC was his company. That kind of thing deserves special mention. Doing business is one thing but doing it the right way another bird. SGC holders look better than ANY of the other grading companies and JMO but the grading more consistant at SGC. Must note that many of my cards are OLD and ungraded (I do have graded cards from all of the major companies) and I've never owned anything in an "9" or better graded or not. I wouldn't even know how to tell

I wanted to
so I did
because I can
Posted By: Ricky Y
Everytime I call SGC someone takes my call and answers my questions right away. If the caller can't answer it they will go ask someone who does..I've never had to call them back twice on an issue. I really like that!

Ricky Yo
