Posted By: Dave F
In trying to keep with this one card from each E series...a check went in the mail yesterday for my first E94...can't wait to get it. I will try to stay focussed and not jump in.

ah, but the colors are so perty, the images are so cool.

(there you have it, the internal struggle of a card junkie begins. I hope you are all proud of yourself... you will all be hearing from my wife shortly - or I will - one or the other.)

Posted By: TBob
Interesting that Huggins and Scott in their auction catalogue refer to the violet Speaker as the second toughest in the set. I assume they are talking about the toughness of the violet color but it begs the question what is the toughest color in the set? The natural reply would be "gold" (of course the orange variation has not yet been recognized by any publication or registry) but it has been my experience that you could make a case for both the olive green or the forest green. I will say that the toughest color to collect in high grade, hands down IMO, (for some bizarre reason), is the olive green. For those few collectors who insist on calling the olive green the darker of the two shades I am referring to the lighter shade green.
