Posted By: DJ
When we usually talk about Coach's Corner, it's usually about "the one of a kind bargains" in the autograph field.

But this month, they are now offering a PRO graded 9 1915 Honus Wagner card with the following description:

This UNBELIEVABLE card #68 from the 1915 Cracker Jack Baseball card set, is the card of Honus Wagner. The is truly a GORGEOUS card that comes slabbed and GRADED by PRO at MINT 9. This card has Brilliant color, clean back, and gorgeous corner and centering, and absolutely deserves this grade. The PSA graded card guide has a value in this conditon of $35,000, and ONLY 2 have been graded this high, and NONE higher.

What do you make of this? What do you think is wrong with it?

Posted By: MVSNYC
besides the fact that it looks trimmed and is a PRO holder, the other thing that jumps out at me is Hans' ridiculously huge nose!

Posted By: davidcycleback
The common sense answer is if it was a Mint 9, it would be in a PSA or SGC holder.

In PRO's defense, the cards they slap generally appear to be authentic, not reprints.
