Posted By: Matt
Are there any issues from his playing period that have Josh Gibson in them? Obviously not any of the major issues, but perhaps one of the scarcer types that I know little about. I've been watching ebay for a month and haven't seen anything.
thanks!

Posted By: Matt
I see that one went at Lelands for 30k
http://www.lelands.com/bid.aspx?auctionid=603&lot=114

I'm making a display of great players cards from when they played. Since that one isn't an option for Gibson, what would you all suggest I put in for him instead? Anything up to the size of a sheet of paper would be fine. I'd really like something from his time period, even if it's not a real card.
thanks!

This is why that Toleteros is so valuable despite it being released so long after his death. I still have hopes for Mexico, though. If there is a card of him, that's where it will be.

--Chad

Posted By: joe
Lelands sent a few of the Gibson cards that Dan posted as advertisement for the auction. They were graded. I had one, can't find it right now. You might post on the BST board looking for this card.

Joe

Ty Cobb, Spikes flying!
