Posted By: barrysloate
My current internet and telephone auction begins today at 9:00 AM Eastern Time. The site will be up at that time and bidding will commence immediately. You can log in at www.sloateauction.com or just click the link at the top of each Net54 page. Catalogs were put in the mail yesterday.

The auction is filled with a nice assortment of N, T, and E cards, highlighted by a substantial collection of Old Judges. There are 55 N172 Hall of Famers as well as a complete set of Browns Champs, among many other vintage card highlights.

Good luck to all and feel free to send questions to bsloate@att.net or just ask them right here, I'll be watching. Regards, Barry

Posted By: barrysloate
I want to point out a small change that I have made on my current auction.

After reviewing the photograph used to illustrate lot #1, the 1897 Boston Chickering team display, I made the determination that it was inadequate and did not accurately depict the image's rich photo tones. As of now, the original has been replaced with a new and more precise photo. You will not see this change on the site's main page (as this can not be edited) but if you click on the lot itself you will be able to view the revised image.

Sorry for this problem, and I decided it would be best to redo it.
