Posted By: Matt
What was your favorite auction catalog? Mine was the Richard Wolffers, Sept. 9, 1992. Each page had a pic of the card, ball or uniform.

Posted By: Anthony
Individual catalog, or company as a whole?
I really was blown out by the Nov '01 Mastro, that had "A Southern Gentleman's Passion". Some really amazing stuff. Ditto the Copeland Catalog and the Halper Collection. Probably the worst one was Guernsey's Topps Archive catalog.
I"m amazed how many awful scans I've seen lately. Goodwins were muddy, and I just got SCP's and they hit a new low.

Posted By: Dan Bretta
Anthony, I was just going to mention that same mastro catalog with "The Southern Gentleman" collection. I can't remember which Mastro catalog it was in, but when they had the Donn Steinbach collection up for auction that had some unbelievable stuff too.

Posted By: John Basilone
The Southern Gentleman's Passion was the Nov 2000 Mastro catalog.

The Don Steinbach Card & Memorabilia collection was featured in the Nov 1997 Mastro & Steinbach auction (Don passed away in June of that year).

Other than Halper & Copeland, I would have to say the recent Mastro Live Auction catalog ranks up there as a favorite.
