Posted By: Eric
Nice!

Great to see that the frequency of mislabeled cards from PSA seems to be increasing.

I'd want that card, just because it's mislabeled like that.

Edited to ask question: So if you put that in the registry, does it show up as Honus, or Heinie?

Posted By: Jeff Lichtman
How on earth could PSA screw this one up? It's literally the most popular card in the world....

Posted By: Jim Crandell
The serious answer is PSA removed it from registry.

Posted By: Ralph
I have been considering on slabbing my cards & the choice is very clear as to which grading service I will be using & the one I won't be using. Thanks for the posts ,My question is how can they mess up the set designation along with players name?If we are paying a service to have the cards graded I would think these errors should not exist. Can you send those back for them to reslab & correct? Thanks and remember this slabbing I am new at so if the questions are a bit out of line I apoligize.

Posted By: Jim Crandell
Peter,

Thats the appearance mint cards will give--everything so perfect that you think it must be trimmed.

Posted By: Eric
Ralph you're definitely not out of line.

Most of my cards are PSA slabbed, but I have never sent out my own cards.

If I had raw cards, I would probably send them to SGC, because they don't have a membership fee and the prices are a little more reasonable (unless PSA is running a deal). Also their slabbed cards look better and seem to be more secure.

On the other hand, I personally like PSA's registry better, and their cards seem to carry a little premium over SCG, though the gap might be closing.

As far as if they make a mistake, I know PSA will fix it free of charge. I think they might even give you a credit for shipping charges, to use the next time you get a card slabbed.

Posted By: Mark T
PSA fixed all the cert #'s. I plug them in PSA site and all 3 come up not found. I assume they were fixed and the pop report is correct but you never know.

Posted By: Rob
shouldn't the serial numbers come up on the corrected pop report as heine wagner, instead of not found? otherwise isn't it like saying the heine psa 9 doesn't exist?

Rob
