Posted By: Dave F
I noticed there are quite a few more auctions this week than there were in the past couple. Not sure if its because the National is over, or maybe just because fall is cracking open the door. School starting back, football getting underway....is it just coincedence or could this mean auction prices may be about to go back on the rise across the board?

We'll have to see if that translates to higher prices continuing to escalate...
probably...
here's to hoping that it's a virtuous cycle (i.e. upward spiral!)
Posted By: Josh Adams
Bobby,

That seems to make perfect sense, given the large crowds at both SGC's and PSA's tables at the National.

Go Go White Sox
2005 World Series Champions!

Posted By: Bobby Binder
As well I am sure a lot of dealers stocked up for the National and now reducing inventory on eBay.

Prices of the cards I'm after have been on the rise since June. If they rise any further, I might have to sell off and start collecting shower curtain rings.

BTW, if there are MORE auctions, wouldn't that suggest that prices might drop since supply is high? I understand auctions aren't a perfect economy, but still...
