Posted By: <b>Dave F</b><p>From doing some searches it does look like more T204's have been for sale, as of late anyway. I'm more than aware none of these would be completeable sets for me anyway. I was more just asking on the whole which of the sets seemed to be up for auction more often. I don't know if the latest trend of a bunch of T204's is just coincidence or what. <br /><br />Between the E98, T204, and E97's...what would the opinion by on "average cost" per common in like a PSA 3? The searches I've done have had some pretty wide margins. <br /><br />

Posted By: <b>ockday</b><p>I agree with others that<br />e98 is the most "doable set of the 3, especially once you pony up for Cobb and Wagner..there seems to be no shortage of e98's for sale.<br />e97 has some very tough and expensive variations not to mention some expensive HOF'ers like Keeler<br />t204's also has some tough and some high dollar cards

Posted By: <b>nbrazil</b><p>not to guide you in another direction, but e96's is a nice set to collect...mainly because it doesnt have some of the big names other e sets of that era have (particularly cobb and wagner). on a per card basis, though, this set might cost a little more.<br /><br />It terms of availability, i feel e98's are easier to acquire. just expect to pay up for the cobb and wagner.<br /><br />according to oldcardboard, e97s go for about $200 per card while e98's are $160. t204s go for $250. obviously, this is not based on empirical information and might be outdated, but gives you a decent idea of relative rankings according to price.

I've just happened to pick up an example of each of the others..so was contemplating picking up a few more of one of the sets, and probably getting rid of the other two at some point. <br /><br />I saw those price values on old cardboard..but have a hard time believing you could pick PSA 3's of any of those for prices like that.

I would use VCP if you want empirical data. <br /><br />I like e96s because of the poses and background colors.
