A little bit o/t but about 10 years ago as NY football Giants season ticket holders my brother wrote a letter to the team asking why the vendors and sideline workers did not remove their hats out of respect during the playing of the National Anthem. A few weeks later he recieved a letter from Wellington Mara stating that this was unaceptable. To this day all employees of the Giants remove their hats during the playing of the National Anthem. On this Holiday too many people take for granted what it means but the classy Mr. Mara never did and unlike most of today's owners treated each paying fan with individual care. CN
