Posted By: Tim Newcomb
If it's labeled 1915, SGC was indicating M101-5. The consensus that both M101-5 and M101-4 were issued in 1916 is quite recent, so most M101-5 cards graded before the last couple of years are probably labeled 1915. I don't know how the companies are dating M101-5s now but I expect you can find F&Bs with both 1915 and 1916 grading labels. Neither is really wrong, and I doubt many collectors would care much either way.

Most F&B backs are from M101-5. In this case I don't know why they didn't go ahead and put the set too, because McInnis is #117 in M101-4 so there's no question it's an M101-5.

Tim
Posted By: scott fandango
so you believe this is the correct label, eventhough it is now believed that both the M101-5 and M101-4 were issued in 1916, and both sets contain Babe Ruth's rookie?
