Posted By: peter chao
That's a great photograph of kids behind the wheel of a chocolate truck. I didn't even know that they had chocolate trucks...but what does it have to do with baseball.

Peter

Posted By: peter chao
I know there were companies such as Darby's and Neilsson's that sold chocolates with baseball cards inserted. Did they have chocolate trucks that went door to door delivering chocolates?

Peter

Posted By: leon
Fair enough. I am not sure exactly how the Baguer Chocolates were delivered but this is obviously one of their trucks. I guess it would be no different than seeing a Frito Lay truck today unloading at the local convenience store. And of course the Walter Johnson card shown is one of Baguer Chocolate cards. They don't come up too often for sale....

edited for spelling....also the picture was perrfect when I won it on ebay but damaged with the heavy crease in the mail....bummer....
