Posted By: Bob
One of these day the University of Oregon Ducks will wake up and add college baseball. They are the only team in the PAC 10 that doesn't play baseball. Kinda like Wisconsin which is the only team in the Big 10 that doesn't field a team.

Posted By: davidcycleback
Oregon State gets much credit, as it's no doubt a difficult thing to win consecutive championships in the NCAA. Both the basketball and baseball formats are difficult to overcome.

Do you know why it's so hard to win two consecutive NCAA baseball championships? Because it's so hard to win one NCAA baseball championship. (Also applies to Superbowls, World Series, etc.)

Posted By: JimB
A repeat in baseball is particularly tough since they lose players to the pros at a much higher rate than football. Basketball is becoming more like baseball in this respect. If someone is still around in their senior year, it is highly unlikely they are going to the pros.
JimB
