Posted By: Terry
Thought the board members might find this peice of interest. It was purchased from a Leland's auction years ago. It was one of 6 or 7 items that detailed the release of the different brands of cigarettes. Supposedly this peice was from a ledger book out of the Richmond, VA factory. This is the only one that I have left - I sold the others to a couple of board members. Maybe they can post their items also.

Terry

Posted By: mr. moses
a similar sport and non-sport grouping of 100+ pages in the non-sport hobby in the mid 1990's. It showed similar information along with a card sample and some blue date stampings if I remember correctly. The ones I remember were 1912 or 1913. Perhaps the same find or whatever as it Was supposedly broken-up..... Scott, I was thinking if not specifically to be housed and archived in a public museum (I too would opt for keeping it together) - I am feeling that having it parsed out would allow it to be available to those with a wide range of interests and collecting proclivities. It is after all not the accumulation itself that has greater intrinsic value than the individual components. The ledger pages are only unified by their similar subject matter and are able to stand on their own. I have something similar without the card. I would love to own an interesting page or more and so I'm always on the lookout........
