Posted By: Larry
Did anyone go to the card show at the mall in Sandusky over the weekend? I happened to witness a trade there that blew my mind.

Posted By: Jim Clarke
I heard about that trade... I don't think that guy will be sitting down any time soon. If he only knew that instead of going out to buy a new car, he could have went out and bought the farm!

Posted By: Josh Adams
Guys,

So is anyone going to actually talk about this supposed trade, or just say that they "saw it?"

Why bother to post about such an event, and not give details?

Posted By: Steve Murray
It can't be too confidential since the posters above know of it and were not participants therein.

This thread is BS. If you're not going to provide details lets just lock it up.

Posted By: Larry
Someone said the thread was BS, so let's just go ahead and lock it. The cards were probably just reprints and mall security was probably a figment of this writer's imagination. I only wanted to see my name at the beginning of the thread and am delusional by nature.

Signed,

Larry the Lunatic

Posted By: leon
Mr. Lunatic won't be able to respond until he emails me privately. It's extremely difficult to get banned from Net54 if you put your name by a post or thread. It's not so difficult if you remain anonymous and don't email a moderator when they ask you too....again, imho, it helps keep the integrity of the board. Hopefully Mr.Lunatic will email me and all will be ok....best regards

Posted By: joe brennan
Ok here's the scoop on the trade. Hershel Walker and $3M to Minnesota for 22 players that would lead the Cowboys to 3 Super Bowl wins. Cowboys were 1-15 and T-Shirt sales were at an all time low. Can't have America's Team in the cellar and not make money on NFL properties. Immediately Mike Lynn left the Viking's to start the WFL. If it was any other team this unreal and lopsided trade would have been laughed at and vetoed immediately.

So much for the NFL not being all about money.

There, I outed the trade and hope no one is offended.

In Rememberance of James W. Brennan Sr. 1924-1982. Dad, thanks for everything you did for me.
