Posted By: mark
I just sold a E102 Chase PSA 1 on the B/S/T board. That card was slabbed 1908 E102 Hall Chase. I don't know if i seen a PSA slab 1909 E102. Could be an error by the person grading it at PSA.

Edited to say: i read your thread again. I think SCD/SMR are wrong on the date. They have known to have mistakes in listing the correct name also, Example E107 Roy Thomas is in the book as Ira. Ira did not play in 1903.

Posted By: Bruce MacPherson
If I recall correctly, the e102's were thought to be a 1908 issue and listed that way for years. But it has since been proven (I believe through team changes--but don't quote me on that) to be a 1909 or possibly even 1910 issue.

Posted By: Steve f
Okay guys thanks for digging this out. With time, the hobby gets wiser. The WUNC Ruths were once labeled 1924s and the W555 thought to be 1907s I believe.

Posted By: Cat
The two cards below have been graded recently. The PSA card about six weeks ago and the SGC card (graded about eight e102s for me) about four weeks ago. Both classified them as 1908. I noticed that Mastro has their e102s identified as 1910 even though the flips say 1908. Can anyone add additional specificity to the dating?
