Posted By: Myron
How do these scammers on E-Bay keep such a good positive feedback percentage? Are they really duping that many people, or is there some trick to it?

One of the things they sell is a woman in a bathtub with her legs up in the air. It is an ashtray that they say is vintage.

A couple of months ago, they sold one and I E mailed the buyer to let them know it was probably a reproduction. The lady (buyer) E mailed back and said she compared it to the one she had, which was broken, and the Acofind one was definitely a repro. The buyer said she could not do anything about it because she had already paid for the ashtray and left positive feedback.

These scumbag sellers can get away with ripping people off because buyers are either greedy or uninformed. Ebay won't do anything about it because it reduces their sales and that hurts their stock price.

David
