The artist added great, realistic shading.

But I love this set E90-1s and this Cyclone in particular for the Classic Red Sox threads.

I am not sure how there can be a neater looking e-card than these? Completion is almost impossible though.

Posted By: Tony Andrea
Hi Ted -
Im actually lucky enough to have already snagged a Clarke (Pitts), Duffy, & Speaker, but am finding out some of the commons are a bear. Shean, Seigle, Unglaub, Stovall, Lobert, Lumley, Mcintyre, Richie, Dougherty are some just to name a few. If anyone has any of these and would consider selling, let me know. I'd love to discuss. Thanks much,
Tony Andrea

My favourite caramel has always been the e98 Mathewson, and the e94 Young and Wagner.

They aren't pretty, but it doesn't bother me If anyone has a red or green version in poor shape, i'd be very internested !! Posted By: Joann
Probably E96. But from the other sets I have favorite individual cards:

E95 Cobb
E93 Phillipi - I love the fade in the purple background.

Any E95 with the blue-sky-with-clouds background - any other vintage cards have that?

Any E90-1 with the multi-blue sky background (Oakes, O'Leary, Jordon, etc). I saw one on ebay though with a similar background but primary color was pink, not blue. Wow.

Overall though, E96.

Joann

Posted By: Wesley
I've always loved the E107s, and think those are the most important E cards. But we hardly ever see them and when they are offered they are always cost prohibitive.

E125 diecuts are probably my other favorites.

SGC is slabbing these now, but, unfortunately, SGC does not have custom holders.

Posted By: leon
Hey Bob,
I had a dupe, that I sold, of a red back Crofts so they aren't unique. I am not sure why they are so scarce. I got 5 of mine from one guy....in a clandestine transaction, in a grocery store parking lot, near where I live...about a year or two ago....Not sure but my guess is that red ink was either expensive, in short supply, or something?? I doubt they came from the same sheet but every one I have seen has been quite o/c... best regards

Posted By: Dave Hornish
Is it possible the red back Croft's were redeemable for something or other? Might explain their rarity.
