These just don't look right to me. The image on the card doesn't look right, too grainy, like they've been photocopied. The edges look too sharp... anyone have an opinion as to whether these are real? The seller has lots of great feedback, which has me doubting my suspicions.

Thanks.

Frank.

Posted By: Tim Newcomb
They are W575-1s, which are very "dotty"-- no worries, they're genuine and should be affordable.

Edited to correct my earlier misinformation-- others had it right.

Posted By: Ken McMillan
I think they appear real. They are w575-1 b cards or some call them a variation of w501 that is uncategorized. The actual w501's have print on the front above the picture. Nice looking cards.

Ken

Posted By: fkw
Ken got it.

They are sometimes called W575-1B.

These cards are more closely related to the W501 set than the W575-1A set. They share the same grainy photos, caption variations, and checklist as the W501's.

They are technically not cataloged yet. They are basically a W501 without the "G-4-22" at top. Grading companies call them W575-1.

They were obviously in a vertical strip, and most of them have rough borders at top and bottom. I think they came out of a machine and were torn off one at a time (sort of like scotch tape)

Here is a post (with photos) on these from 3 weeks ago. Rhett and I talked about these exact cards.

W575-1, W501, W575-1B
