Posted By: leon
Picked this up recently. It was said it is a 1920's card but I don't know for sure. Can someone tell me the sequence of this guy hitting the other guy in the behind and also hitting the pitcher? I am not quite sure what's going on here?

Posted By: Jim
The batted ball hit the pitcher, the swung bat struck the runner coming in from 3rd as he crossed the plate.

Posted By: leon
But isn't the batter backwards? Some of these international cards are very amusing....I enjoy them and most times they don't cost an arm and a mortgage payment.... >

Posted By: Jim
see the circles of air by his knees? he swung so hard that he spun himself in circles. He actually started out on the other side of the base...note his hand position on the bat

Posted By: leon
Thanks....I wasn't getting the fact he went up in the air and landed, batting, on the other side of the "plate"? I should have put the "swishes" of air into the equation more.... I think I need more coffee
