Posted By: Dave
Wanting to get both these crossed over...any PSA guys think either card could pull a 2 instead of a 1?? Also...wouldn't it be better to send the cards in still slabbed instead of taking a risk and breaking them open and submitting raw?
Either way I think nice looking 1's.

Posted By: Denny
Hey Dave,
Seems to me that your pretty set on PSA Slabs!? If you absolutely would like to have "2's" as a grade from PSA(I would!), then this is what I would do(and have done). I think this is your best bet first off without crackin'em! Tell them on the submission form that is the least grade you will except as a crossover, "PSA 2"! I think you know of the area on their form that I've mention'd. Anyhow, I think this tactic at first might get you the PSA 2's that I think you're looking for! When PSA seez the "1.5's" from SGC they will have little, but no problem moving them into a "2" Slab. This is the way I always'd handle it. Being aggressive has work'd ever time time for me. I've done this at least 5 time's...I would save the Crackin', as a last effort!
Anyways, Whatever you decide, let us know how it turns out?
your irish friend,
Denny

Posted By: Dylan
Maybe this is just me, but what the hell is the difference between a sgc 1.5 and a psa 2? Id imagine the profit made would be less then the price to ship and have it regraded by psa. Unless you feel you really got screwed by a grade, or you have a 6 you think can be a 7 or a 7 an 8 i dont see the point. Theres really no profit to be made in bumping up a 2 to a 3 with common T206. I guess if you are showcasing them and you like there look better, but still??

Posted By: Dave
I got a good deal on the cards...or wouldn't have bought them if SGC holders....all my T206's are PSA's...so I'd like to flip these as well..and obviously it would be nice to have 2's instead of 1's...some of us cant afford the 6's and 7's....so a 2 would be just dandy with me

Posted By: MVSNYC
irish denny-

i have had the OPPOSITE luck...i have sent-in everything from SGC 2's to SGC 7's...and asked to have them crossed over, and marked "minimum grade 2, 7, etc..." and sometimes it works, but many times it doesn't...

crack-out, send in raw

if it says SGC 1.5...they are less likely to "bump-it up" to a 2...
