My wife was also born with congenital heart defects and has undergone three pretty big surgeries herself over the years. Like your son, she's a hell of a lot tougher than me. 2006 has actually been a bit of a tough year for her. Good thing she loves baseball (G). Anyhoo... Here's a pick of her, our wonderful daughter Kaitlyn and me (I'm the big blob in the back) down at the house of mouse in Florida. The show was filmed in Dec 2001 on a South Pacific Island. This series was on TV Feb-May, 2002. She did not win the million; but, did survive up to the 10th spot out of 16. She was the pride of all of Maine and had her picture on many Magazines (shown here). I told her at that time while she was having more than her "15 minutes of fame", that if she ran for Governor of Maine....she would win. She was amazingly popular throughout the state. After 15 years of this rugged occupation, she retired from lobster fishing in 2003. When meeting a great teacher like the Dalai Lama, it is traditional to offer them a kathak. They usually bless it and then place it back around the neck of the person who offered it.
