Posted By: Bob
OK, using up my O/T early.
My vote is for Minnesota- The college football team was miserable, snuck in to a bowl game with a 6-6 record by playing 4 patsies and then broke eveyone's hearts with the biggest choke in NCAA bowl history, blowing a 31 point lead. The Gopher basketball team is headed for the cellar, the Vikings were putrid, the T-Wolves are going to miss the playoffs again, and the Twins after a great regular season, took the lead pipe in the first round of the divisional playoffs and were swept.
You have to be hearty to be a Minnesota fan, can anyone top that?

Posted By: Dylan
Well I live here in WA, near Seattle and we've had a tough time lately. The sonics and the Mariners went from top tier teams to trash in a matter of a few years. Both UW and WSU football programs have turned very sour, and although the seahawks got to the Superbowl last year, we barely eeked out a playoff birth with a 9-7 record. So currently our basketball, baseball, and football programs are all looking pretty dismal, with the Seahawks being the only entertaining ticket in town, on some Sundays... but im sure there's worse out there...
BTW, speaking of seattle, are there any other collectors out there that live in the area? It would be great to get some board members together to discuss, and maybe show off some of our collectables. I know a couple people emailed me about getting together that lived in the area months ago but it never materialized. Anyone out there might be interested?

Posted By: Joe Tocco
I'm going to have to go with Michigan. The Tigers had the best record in the league most of the season, entered the WS prohibitive favorites, and layed an egg. The Pistons had the best regular season record, and lost in the playoffs. The Red Wings had the best regular season record, and lost in the playoffs. U of M was ranked #2 and lost to OSU again. The Lions sucked like usual, and couldn't even manage to lose the last game to get the #1 draft pick.

Joe
