Posted By: Bob
Mark- Man I don't know about the D311s being ranked so low. They are impossible. I did sell 3 recently to finance the purchase of some other cards, but other than those 3 from my collection and one SGC 80 Pfyl that sold in Goodwin's, I don't recall seeing a single one for sale in over a year...
tbob

Posted By: Dylan
Just curious.. has anyone heard of someone try and forge a rare backstamp, like the niagra for instance?

Posted By: Joe D.
I am not too familiar with the sets...

but that is the e101 back with a stamp on it. And being that the type on the e101 ends with a comma instead of a period - it looks like the intention was for these things to be stamped by whatever retailer wanted to.

So my question is --- are these actually different sets? Or are we just seeing the e101s intended personalization by a retailer?

Posted By: leon
You are correct on both cases. Yes, it's the same set as E101, as retailers just put a stamp on the back. Yes, Jeff Burdick, classified them as D355....so they are D355 as a catalogued set. I have seen 1 of them that was in a Lipset auction. A board member got it and sold/traded it to another board member around a year ago. I have been begging that board member for it since he got it . Begging isn't working....There are more, I believe, as there are several checklisted in different places....but heck if I know where. As everything goes another will eventually show up. My guess is that whomever has them might not know what they are, except for a caramel card with a pesky purple mark on the back....sort of like the handful of others with pesky marks (overprints)....As for the ratings of scarcity I think the initial order pretty close with a few that could be interchanged....Tarzan's are really tough. I would probably put them at #2. regards
Posted By: Anonymous
I concur with your list as well...but think D322 could be a tad touher than D304...at least in my experience in collecting those sets...D304 just beats you up more with all the expensive HOF'ers.

Posted By: Andy Cook
Holsum Breads are not that difficult to find - I've had over 40 of them over the past 7-10 years. Standard Biscuits that look like E121s are very difficult to find in my opinion. I've probably only had 2-3 of them.

Andy
