Posted By: Jim F
I'm sure this has been talked about before but I could not find it by searching old posts. I am trying to date and price this deck of playing cards. I'm thinking 50's. Are these what's called the "Brown and Bigelow". Thanks, Jim.

Posted By: Jim F
Thanks Dan. It is being offered to me for $150, I had a feeling it was high. I guess the guy saw single cards selling for $4-$5 on ebay and priced it from that. Jim.

Posted By: joe brennan
Brown and Bigelow was a first class printing company in the 50's. They did alot of high quality prints in that era. I collect Maxfield Parrish prints and he was very picky about who did prints of his paintings. Brown and Bigelow was who he chose for his 50's work. Joe

People said it was a million dollar wound. But the government must keep that money, cause I ain't never seen a penny of it.

Posted By: Jim F
Thanks guys. I ended up taking it on consignment. It started by me offering $50 and the guy asking $200, so we were way apart. I'm just going to ebay it for him and whatever happens, happens. Thanks again for the quick responses. Jim.
