Posted By: MVSNYC
i have recently been doing some research into two pieces of memorabilia...Ruth signed Checks and 1919 WS Ticket Stubs. i know they are two completely different pieces, but was just curious if some of the experts out there could give me some info/insight on what to look for or what is the most desirable forms or variations of each? also any ideas on values would be appreciated...

thanks.
Michael

The best being game 1.

The last game 1 ticket I saw sold for around 3K. Hope this helps.

James Gallo

Looking for 1915 Cracker Jacks and 1909-11 American Caramel E90-1.

Posted By: DJ
The last 1919 stub I saw sold two years ago in a frame and mat for $1,800 and I wish I would have pulled the trigger on that piece. $3,000 for a full is about right and I don't see them all that often.

I bought my first Ruth check in 2002 for $1,700 and today, those checks can be found for around $3,500, but sometimes the bidding gets a little crazy and I've seen some in auctions sell for as much as $4,500. Always nice items framed and matted and seemed to dry up a little.

DJ
