Posted By: leon
This isn't my auction but is a board members and it's over. Before it was over I told the seller that the reason it got a 10 is because part of it is missing. I said I was sort of surprised it even got a numerical grade. His response was only this, to quote...

"sorry about the scan but the bottom of the card is there. get your eyes checked"

Did I miss something or is all of this card really there? I am not putting the card down but are my eyes deceiving me? regards

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270027843385&sspagename=ADME:L:RTQ:US:1

Posted By: Gilbert Maines
You are taking his statement too literally.
You see? The bottom of the card is there. So is the top and sides.
Maybe not all there. Or maybe it is all there. Did you check under the slab for the missing piece?

Posted By: Judge Dred (Fred)
Bill,

Can you please show us the scan of the whole card. Can't you see you missed the bottom left corner of the card. I usually try to scan the whole card with all four corners showing...

Edited to add - technically, this card has 5 corners!!!

Posted By: leon
What lower left corner?....you condition freak.... still a nice card but not too nice of a response from the seller... He said he didn't know why it got a 10, in the auction description, and all I did was tell him....For the record I do believe the flaw I mentioned is why it got it...and had that not been there (or had been there as it was) then the card would indeed grade much higher. (complete cards tend to do that)....later

Posted By: john/z28jd
Here we go another grading company bashing thread! At least this time i agree with the angry mob.....when are they going to learn to grade what you send them, not what you didnt send them! If you send them 90% of a card then thats what they should grade. Theyre assuming the missing piece isnt nrmt is what they are doing!

Whoever won this card at least has a good start at a partial set of t222's,or is that a set of partial t222's?
