Posted By: leon
Let's see any cards you picked up because you thought they looked neat...not because you needed them.....This might be the best set yet that can be collected on a budget...I picked this up a few weeks ago for about $50.....W575-2 (V100's have some great poses too...)

Posted By: Patrick McMenemy
Since my focus on my pre-war collection is pretty much down to Home Run Kisses catchers, and none have even surfaced recently, I decided to collect a few 1952 Bowman catchers.

When I started collecting again as an adult, I initially was attracted to the set, but later traded them off as my collection evolved. The set really captures catchers very well.

Received this yesterday:

Patrick

Posted By: James Feagin
When Jefferson Burdick said something to the effect that "I'd rather have a hole in a card, than a hole in my collection", he didn't have to pay the big $$$ for a common type card. I'm happily unfocused, and try to have every purchase be a card that I like, rather than need, just for need sake. Being rid of the whole "set collecting" concept is happily liberating.
