Posted By: Rob NYC
What? They ran out of design ideas?
So they had to steal the design that is over 100 years old.....

Nothing beats the original.
Often imitated but never duplicated.

However, I'm going to get the Jerry Bailey autograph from that set.

Posted By: Al C.risafulli
I think these, the Topps and Bowman Heritage, and all their other "vintage" designs are awesome.

Mainly, because no matter what, I'll always love ripping open packs of cards. I struggle buying the stuff these days, because I just don't enjoy shiny stuff. I'll buy a box or two of these at some point, and have a blast looking at what they did with the art.

Secondly, because if kids buy these cards and become interested in true vintage cards as a result, it's an excellent thing for the hobby.

When I see kids with baseball cards, it makes me happy. Baseball cards are for kids.

-Al

Posted By: John S
I bought a box. Neat cards. The card designs are really close to the originals. I also sold the Ortiz jersey card and an auto and got over half of my money back. As Al said, if it gets younger collectors interested in the old stuff kudos to Topps. The kids at the hobby store where I bought the cards were asking the owner, who was fairly knowledgeable, questions about the originals.
