Posted By: Chad
That's super freakin duper trimmed. I love the big borders on the V100's. I'm really, really surprised to see it bid up that high, but since I'm going to be selling a bunch of these soon, I guess I should be happy about it.

--Chad

Posted By: Rhys
High bidder just collects Burleigh Grimes stuff (as you might guess by his screen name) and I think he is a relative. Condition is secondary to his owning an example for his Grimes collection. It is weird that someone else would bid that high, but not weird that blgrimes would bid higher than market for that card.

Rhys

Posted By: Tim Newcomb
That the seller calls the Grimes card "EX++"

My guess is that all parties concerned, maybe even the seller, don't realize that these Willard's (an obscure set to most people) are badly trimmed. I emailed the seller about it.

Tim

Posted By: Tim Newcomb
I emailed the guy about his trimmed Willard's. He has now listed some more with this description:

THEY MAY HAVE BEEN SLIGHTLY TIMMED ON THE BOTTOM BORDERS.

OK................

Here's a link to an intact Willard's for anyone who doesn't know the set:

http://www.oldcardboard.com/foreign/canada/v/v100/v100.asp?cardsetID=1007
