Posted By: Max Weder
SCD 2006 Standard Catalogue lists 1910 175 Obak Subjects card 27 as "D. Brown". The card is presumably incorrectly catalogued, as there is no Bob Brown listed in SCD. Bob Brown was the father of Vancouver baseball and you can read his biography here: Bob Brown Biography

PSA seems to have picked up on this mistake, as I recently bought a 5 so incorrectly labelled, and the misnaming also exists on this card. The player pictured below is definitely Bob Brown (born Robert Paul Brown).

Max

Posted By: Max Weder
Zach. The magazine was the convention publication for SABR's national convention in Seattle. Raincheck is a pretty cool book, isn't it? I especially like the "all-star" team postcard on the rear cover. There is also a much more detailed biography on Bob Brown in the book.

Max
