Posted By: leon
About 3 Nationals ago, John Ramirez, or another veteran told the whole story, but I don't remember it. I know Thompson was the commissioner or League President though......

Posted By: Zach Rice
Thompson was the league commissioner. It is one of my favorite images on a card and one to talk about. I remember one on ebay a little over a year ago that was in poor condition that closed at a little over $300. I haven't seen another on ebay since then and it seems like a great price for such a unique image.

Edited to add, it would be interesting to know why out of all of the T209-2s, Thompson's card is the only one with a different back. It almost seems like you could redeem it ?
