Posted By: DannyHappy 4th of July everybody... I have always looking for Dummy Hoy and Dummy Taylor and I end up found something intresting, Two "Dummy" players that I never heard on this photo. Thought would be nice to have it on my hand. I would def want to know more about this team. Posted By: edacraLooks like it could be the Jersey City Skeeters. 1902 was the year they built Skeeters Park and joined the Eastern League - then they won the championship the year after that. They used a logo like that. You really would have to match the names up, but one would think any team with two guys nicknamed Dummy should be pretty distinctive.

Posted By: edacraThe photo pre-dates the 1902 printing. (so it's possible Bill Murray was still on Second City at the time, and Dr. Preston was still in practice.)
