Posted By: fkw
Only Sweet Caporal 150 (95%) and Piedmont 150 (5%).

Sean, on your birthday ask for the Lew Lipset "Encyclopedia of Baseball Cards", its a must have book for anyone interested in vintage cards. It will answer most all of your questions (we can answer the rest).

Edited to correct (%) error

Posted By: T Engle
Sean,

I believe Josh K. told you that it did not exist.

I've been a long time lurker, and he seems very knowledgable on cards so I'd take his word for it.

I got the chance to see the PSA 8 Wagner up in Cleveland and it was BEAUTIFUL!

Does anyone known if any Wagner's will be displayed in Anaheim?

T

Posted By: Josh K.
Thanks for the kind words T. Though to give credit where credit is due, most of the little I do know about vintage cards has come from reading this board and from the people Ive met as a result of this board.

Posted By: JimB
Quick correction. FKW must have gotten mixed up. All but two of the approximately 60-75 known Wagners are Sweet Cap 150s. The other two, including the PSA 8 McNall/Gretzky and a hand cut copy that used to be owned by Charles Bray are Piedmont 150s. There was one other Piedmont Wagner advertised in the Trader Speaks back in the 1970's, but it was never confirmed and has not surfaced again since. Some have speculated that the Piedmont Wagner was never issued in cigarette packs.
JimB

Posted By: John S
Sean,

I believe that the others have answered your question. Since the Broadleaf series was released towards the end of T206 production (1911) it is very unlikely that a Wagner was produced. Any and all Wagners were probably produced in 1909.

By the way, your question was much easier to read. Add a capital letter and some punctuation and it will be close to perfect.
