Posted By: Paul
I remember reading awhile ago that the owner of Empire State Collectibles had passed away. I believe it was a husband and wife business. Do any of you know if the wife has carried on the business? Or if their inventory was sold to another dealer? Thanks.

Posted By: Rich W.
If I recall, Joe Esposito purchased most of the inventory after Bob Bostoff passed on. I may not have all my facts right, but I remember that was the answer to me when I asked a year ago.

Posted By: scott brockelman
In the 1990's and early 2000's when I still set up or attended many shows, Bob Bostoff was a great dealer to work with, always had lower grade collector material rubber banded just like the old days, piles and piles, T cards, E cards Goudeys, you name it, Non-Sport. I would love to go through them. Usually I would buy the whole stack of whatever I was looking thru, he never hesitated to make a deal, as he was always picking up new material.

Oh, the good ole days.

And Bob was so knowledgable about cards, players, history, etc. Sadly missed.

Scott
