Posted By: leon
I have no issue with a notice of a private/public auction on this main forum. That doesn't mean ebay auctions it means the ones we all know but might forget about. We do have a place in the BST for them but this main forum is ok too, imo, in moderation. Not every darn lot in an auction but the auction in general, is ok to advertise. If an employee/principal of the auction wants to come and post that theirs is up and going, that is cool too. What I don't want is it being done covertly on this main board. The rules are the same for everyone. I might be from Tejas but I ain't that stoopid ....Also, the over hyping on the BST threads is wearing me down. If you "over hype" please expect a reality check rebuttal. Very few things being sold on there are "rare" or "very rare" or "only" seen in major auction house auctions. Like I have said, "this isn't flea bay"...This is a little more experienced investors . thanks....

Posted By: Lee Behrens
Thanks for pointing out the overhyping of auctions. Like you said we are pretty much experts here and the overhyping is an insult to me, and I tend not to bother with those auctions or sales. Let's keep it simple & real.

Lee
