I can collect what I want, when I want, without feeling obligated to buy players I don't care about. It's really nice to sell some of those common t206 or Goudey players and get a card that is unique. Doing this has turned me to sets I never knew about when my focus was so narrow. One of the aspects I love about cards is the constant search for something interesting, and perhaps unknown.<br /><br />James

I'll take an m116 over a t206, a 1936 Goudey over a 33/34 Goudey. As far as representing a certain player I would agree that there are much cooler sets that are a lot more interesting than the common sets mentioned in the first post.
