My HOF collection is also a type card collection, and I'm trying to get as many card types as possible.

I have four T206s in the set (and many more that I've replaced with other card types), eight 1933 Goudeys, four 1934 Goudeys, four Diamond Stars, two 1940 Playballs and two 1941 Playballs. That's enough.

-Al

I can collect what I want, when I want, without feeling obligated to buy players I don't care about. It's really nice to sell some of those common t206 or Goudey players and get a card that is unique. Doing this has turned me to sets I never knew about when my focus was so narrow. One of the aspects I love about cards is the constant search for something interesting, and perhaps unknown.

James

I'll take an m116 over a t206, a 1936 Goudey over a 33/34 Goudey. I love r312s and other simialr type cards like Goudey wide pens, etc.

Jay

I like to sit outside, drink beer and yell at people. If I did this at home, I would be arrested. So, I go to baseball games and fit right in.

Posted By: Chris Mc
I enjoy collecting 39 Play balls as I like black and white cards. I started collecting them because the other set I am collecting will take a while and I feel like I am getting somewhere with the Play balls. As far as representing a certain player I would agree that there are much cooler sets that are a lot more interesting than the common sets mentioned in the first post.

I did get my first T206 that I own in the mail from Colt today and I have to admit, I'm happy to now have a nice T206. I probably won't pursue any more from the set though.

DavidVargha@hotmail.com
