Posted By: E, Daniel
Just incredibly beautiful K Bats Preece, many cards turn up that are amazing - but pieces like this really deserve the tag extraordinary!!!

Can I ask, I notice that the Keefe tapers down-and-in on both sides of the card.....did you purchase it slabbed, or if not, were you concerned that the cuts might not be original?
I have very little up close experience with the Kalamazoos, were the cuts on this issue regularly all over the place or is this an unusual example?

Kind regards
Daniel

Posted By: Preece1
The cards were graded today. I have seen the very best K-Bats collection up close and it appears that many of the K-Bats come with very "non standard" cuts. The Keefe does not have a wavy right side, and no pressure imprints which is what you would tend to find on a trimmed card. Both of these cards are from the Copeland auction.

A few, such as the coveleskie and evers, appear to be severely undergraded.

Posted By: Josh K.
Hey Quan,

These are all new cards to me. I still have my sgc 40 wagner and will likely be selling whichever of the two I think looks worse. The cards are not "in hand" yet. Based on the scans, the psa wagner has a nicer front, but the back is not as clean. Unfortunately, the Chance is one of the cards that I feel is overgraded. It has a very small spot of paperloss on the reverse - though it does present real nice.

Posted By: Noel
I loved looking at those E93's. Thanks for posting them and thanks for all the information and wisdom you guys bring to this board. I noticed that many of the cards (PSA) were in holders that were nearly double the size fo the card. Is anyone else puzzled/irritated of PSA not making holders that "fit" the card. Some of the E93's above are nearly diagonal in the holder. I have a bunch of these which i want fit into holders that are the proper size. I do have many cards that are in the correct size but a substantial amount more that are not. Why does PSA do this? Will they correct this if brought to their attention? Seems a good way to turn a "ex" card into "vg" without ever leaving the holder.

I have had EXMT to NRMT ones graded as 60s so you did well guy.
I used to own that Payne AUT, very nice card and believe that undergraded E93 Waddell which cmoking owns used to be mine at one time and was severely undergraded.
Nice cards guys!
