Posted By: Scot Reader

I recently picked up a couple of rough E121s where the first line on the back ends in "eighty" instead of "eighty of the". It seems like the E121s on ebay, almost without exception, are of the "eighty of the" variety. Any ideas about the difficulty of the ends in "eighty" E121 variation back and premium that attaches, if any? Also, one these pick-ups was Sisler of the Browns. My understanding is that most of the ends in "eighty" backs appear on subjects from the Yankees or Giants. Is this true? Any information appreciated. Thanks, Scot

Posted By: Scot
They are printed in the opposite direction on back as well. I have Cincinnati and New York, purchased from a board member.

Posted By: Jim Manos
Scot,
I have Burns Giants, Collins Yankees HOFer, Ryan Giants, and Shawky Yankees. I must say they all must be Yankee's and Giants. Also another variation to these rare E121 type 2's I like to call them is that Pennsylvania is abbreviated on these cards as PA on the back if you notice. E-mail me if you have any further questions as I will post on the B/S/T.

Regards,

Jim Manos
