Posted By: dnamertz
I collected many baseball cards in the 1980s then stoped following the hobby, so I'm new to all this professional grading stuff. I have a few cards I want to sell on ebay, mainly the 1986 Barry Bonds 11T card. Having just seen the same card sell on ebay for $1,000 with a BGS 9.5 rating, I'm thinking I need to get mine rated (althoug I saw another sell minutes later for only $95 with BGS 9.5 Gem Mint rating...not sure what the differenc is).

Anyway, can anyone give me some advice on the three major grading companies I'v read about, PSA, SCG, and BGS? Are they trusted to send me back the same card I sent them? How long do they take to get the card back? Send my card in the mail to someone makes me nervous...please give me some advice. Thanks.
