Posted By: J Levine
Jay,
As regionals go, there are few that are tougher than these. As a long-time Phillies collector, I have seen a few for sale here and there. I actually own one Phillie from this set and paid dearly for it several years ago. I have not seen one for sale on ebay in several years. They do pop up in some of the higher end auctions every now and then.

Tougher than Sealtest and Lummis...not as tough as Felin's Franks.

Joshua

Posted By: Eric
Someone auctioned off a good dozen to 15 singles about 5-6 years ago on Ebay. I'm glad I snagged one because I haven't seen a single one since. To make you gag a little, I paid in the neighborhood of $20 for it...and it's in great shape.

Posted By: Jim Manos
Had a Chapman on the forum for a month Leon bought it. Top was cut weird. I have had a handful. They are very tough, but seem to pop up in the midwest. I will keep this post and if I find any I will let you know.

Didn't see Leon's post but that is the one...

Posted By: J Levine
Midwest is odd since the store was located in the heart of Philadelphia (as it says on the back of the cards).

Leon, many of them look handcut and probably were as it really was just a father and son store in Philly.

I fogot that Jim had one for sale (probably because it was an Athletic and not a Phillie).

I will gladly buy your Father and Son's Shoes Phillies for $40 a card! That is a 100% profit for you!

Joshua
