Posted By: James Feagin
Here are the stats on Mr. Groskloss. Not only did he play 3 years for the Pirates (1930-1932), but apparently he was also a great physician after his playing days. On April 9th, Mr. Groskloss turns 100 years old. Not too many people alive who played with the Waner's! By all reports he is doing quite well, and still signs many autographs through the mail. I will be sending him my 100 year well wishes. Those who also wish to do so, please send me an e-mail and I'll shoot you his address. While we're on this thread, care to post any pictures of Howdy Groskloss? I've never seen one.

http://www.baseball-reference.com/g/groskho01.shtml

James

Posted By: James Feagin
At 100 years and a month, I received two signed index cards from Mr. H. Hoffman Groskloss M.D. today. He signed his neat signature on his practices' stationery and added "Pirates 1930-1932" as an inscription. Wow!
