If anyone could take a guess at the date of the photo or the team/player in the photo it would be much appreciated. If the person you got it from knew, or knows some background behind the picture, that would be a big help in identifying the team.<br /><br />Jay<br><br>I like to sit outside, drink beer and yell at people. Posted By: <b>davidcycleback</b><p>The dating offered seems correct. The oval photographic print with embossment around it dates to the early 1900s.<br /><br />In fact, if you were to email me a big scan of the photo I would use it as an example in my sports photo guide.

Posted By: <b>Lee</b><p>Thanks for the replies so far. I haven't got the photo in my possession as of yet but the info I have on it is that it was a baseball player from Long Island, New York area. The actual photo its self is 3x4 1/2 inches but the overall stock of the backing/cardboard is 6x9 inches. Once I get the photo I'd be glad to send you a big scan of it David to use in your sports photo guide.
