Posted By: Don J
Wow,

Got an unexpected surprise in the mail today - finally received a PSA 6 T206 Mordecai Brown that was confirmed shipped by USPS on Nov 29, 2005 (especially since I foolishly didn't even insure the package)! Wow, talk about quick service Anyone else break this record?

But yours was over 5 months, wow.

About 15 years back I once had a package with a E98 Cobb in it that was left with a neighbor, he put it on a shelf in his garage, it sat there for over 6 months before he found it cleaning out his garage. The funny thing is I was still trying to get a refund on it and thought Id never see the $$ or card again.

Posted By: leon
I bought a D304 Fleischmann's Baking common (the 2nd to last back I needed, sort of weird in itself) from Bob Craik and it took a few extra weeks to get to me, as I remember, which wasn't too extraordinary. What was strange is my receptionist got it from someone walking in off of the street. They said they found it about 5 miles away....it had been run over, with a big tire mark on one side of the plain white, letter style, envelope. It had no stamp on it either. You could tell it had fallen out of a larger packaging (since there was no stamp and very little packing) but had my address on the envelope. The card was in the envelope in a top loader....in fine condition....go figure..

Posted By: howard
Still waiting for the PSA8 1969 seaver I bought a few months back. I suspect it was stolen by a heroin addicted co-worker (since fired). I didn't pay for postal insurance but the seller surprised me by reimbursing me with his own insurance. I'm still hoping the card shows up so I can return it to the seller.

Howard
