Posted By: Bob S
Hey folks,

Not long after I posted my "Probably OT, but amusing and disturbing re: eBay" post very early this AM, I realized I had made a mistake. I misinterpreted the author of the original eBay post in that thread as making a threat to eBay members that if they didn't make him/her an offer for the collection, he/she was going to put it up for auction.

I hope you folks can see how I misinterpreted his words, and what disgusted me was that and the the whimpy responses that followed (except one).

I want to especially apologize to cmoking, ScottIngold, and T206Collector, who had to waste their time replying to my babbling.

And, Leon, please delete this thread so it doesn't inconvenience anyone else.

Sorry for being a Homer Simpson. I used to be a smart guy before my Lyme disease, but, that's still no excuse. Doh

I will be more careful in the future.

Bob

Posted By: leon
Taken care of...no worries...I make as many mistakes as anyone. Thanks for clearing it up though. I was scratching my head on that one. The best thing to do on this board when you make a mistake is come back and correct it. I have learned the hard way.....

Posted By: Cat
I had to read that thread last night two or three times and sort of realized you had read something into that post and nine responses that I couldn't find. BUT NO NEED TO FEEL EVEN REMOTELY DOWN ABOUT IT. In the end, I thought the dicussion of the guys "investment" and how he was trying to figure out a way to make money was pretty interesting. It was good reading for those folks that think you can buy cards, turn them over quickly, and make money. Some folks can do it, but I think the successful ones are highly skilled and highly knowledgeable about what they are doing.
