Posted By: Will
Has anyone seen the current bid for this card on the Huggins & Scott Auction? I know that Star Player cards are hard to find, but $1300. I bought a much nicer looking Mickey Cochrane Star Player last month for less than half of what this card is going for. What do you all think?

Will

I paid just over $600 last year for a raw Jesse Haines that graded a SGC 40. But that's not really a fair comparison to how the Wilson card presents. That being said, I am finding that what I paid for many cards six months ago is worthless in terms of what to bid in the current market.

DavidVargha@hotmail.com

It's also one of Wilson's earliest cards, and one of the few cards showing him with the Cubs, which is the team he really starred for. His common cards mostly show him with Brooklyn.
