Posted By: Keith
I am a novice, but just purchased this Alperman T206. I have some cards that have stamps on the back, but this one appears to say Alperman,2b on back. Has anyone seen this before? I mean with a players name and position stamped on the back? Most of the stamps I've seen are like initials or the cards original owners name or something.

Posted By: Keith
It seems to me it would be time consuming to create a stamp for each individual player/position. Anyone have one of these? I don't understand the purpose of it. Any possibility that this is still an owners stamp, and that Alperman could have possibly owned this card?

There was a stack of each player for distribution, and each player's name was rubber stamped on the back?

Posted By: T206Collector
...this was not done by the factory. This was a collector identifying the position Alperman played.
